Ken
Walker began driving tow trucks in the late 1970s for a local
Marin county towing company. He moved on to Corte Madera Tow located
in Greenbrae in March of 1988 and has since purchased the company
in January of 2005. CMT is now a family owned/operated business, Kens
son, Nick is the companys tow service/business manager and his
wife, Juli, is vice-president. Corte Madera Tow has been in operation
since August of 1975, starting with a small office located at Skillings
Chevron in Mill Valley.
The Corte Madera Tow garage/property holds 3 flatbeds, 6 tow trucks
and 3 service/battery trucks, two storage yards and office/dispatch space.
Kens staff of 18 drivers provides 24/7- exceptional customer service
year round. Corte Madera Tows mission statement says it all. The
difference between CMT and the others
. is simply courtesy and service. Ken
maintains a strict rule that his trucks are always clean, his drivers are
well dressed and they provide prompt polite service.
Corte Madera Tow serves as
a contract station for AAA roadside assistance as a P.S.P (Preferred
Service Provider). We are also contracted with the local
police agencies and serve several auto body shops in addition
to our own customers.
Corte Madera Tow is proud to be the recipient of the Contract
Station Spotlight award from AAA in October of
2006. CMT is a proud member of the California Tow Truck
Association (CTTA) Redwood Chapter. Ken is involved with
many local community programs in the area including MDA events, Twin
Cities Little League, local high school events, the Marin
County Deputy Sheriffs Association and the California
Highway Patrol. CMT also proudly supports and sponsors the Golden
Gate Racing Team - and Ryan Foster - NASCAR Driver
